Much from the rich history of typical Seiffen peoples craft, Volkskunst, which has its roots in wooden toys turned on the lathe, and has stood the test of time over the generations up to the present day. Seiffen also known as Toy Town, Spielzeugdorf Seiffen, and the Christmas Village, Weihnachts Dorf, is still the main town in the Erzgebirge, producing, Christmas Pyramids, Weihnachts Pyramiden, Smoky Men, Räuchermann, and much more. |
